During a press conference in Sweden, the Swedish football star, Zlatan “Ibra” Ibrahimovic shocked Swedish journalists when he gave his view on Qatar as a country and compared it to Sweden.
“Qatar as a country. I think it is a system that works,” said Ibra and went on: “Do they have any drugs there? No. And crime?” Then Ibrahimovic continued to and compare his country Sweden with Qatar:
“Sweden, does it have any crime? Ohhh yes, very much. Drugs? Yes!”, said Ibrahimovic, and went on:
“So if we are going to compare, the system there [Qatar] works. Does the the system in Sweden work? Yes. But does it work to 100%? I don’t know,” said Zlatan to SVT Sport.
When the top striker from AC Milan got critical questions about Qatar and the accusations about human rights violations from journalists, he responded by saying that his expirence of the country so far is “10 points” in everything after his visit to the country during the World Cup in 2022.
“It was fantastic”, said Ibra. “Organisation: 10 points. Experience: 10 points. The match: 10 points. The audience: 10 points. The food: 10 points. The travel: 10 points. World Cup: 10 points. Everything was 10 points.”
Then Ibra asked the journalist: “Did you want to hear something else or what?”
